Beagle

Junior (9,1a)

A very varied class with many different shapes and types.

1st Gladstyle Ida Side. Just 6 months but this young lady won on her style, type and movement. Lovely head with a dark eye and a cheeky expression. Well made fore and aft with a nice level topline. Very settled and confident on the move with the correct reach and drive. So much promise. Just pipped by her kennelmate in the challenge.

2nd  Alfadais Echo. I really liked this young lady for her outline, shape and type. Correct head, lovely topline and well made. Just lacked the confidence on the move and was put off by the tape on the floor. So much to like and when she had no tape to contend with she moved really well. Hope she overcomes this but will certainly shine in other venues

3rd        Chatoyant Danae

Post Graduate (11,2a)

1st Stokeshart Octopussy at Byleeton.  Lovely young B, only 19mths and of good shape and type. Like her head proportions and length of neck. Well laid shoulders, lovely level topline and a well-muscled rear that she used on the move, true with reach and drive.

2nd        Atlas Ledgendary Star Angel at Gladstyle NAF.  What can I say about this young man. Only 6 mths and another with so much promise. Lovely shape, super head and eye. Well laid shoulders and lovely rear angles. Level topline that he keep on the move and already firm enough to minimise any roll. Showing composure, confidence , reach and drive when going round. BP & Puppy Group 4

3rd        Simeldaka Victory Tifla.

Open (8,2a)

1st Shercroft Apollo JW.  What a lovely example of a mature dog. 2yrs and lovely for size and outline. Super head with good stop and dark eye, good length of neck, clean into well laid shoulders. Lovely bone and neat tight feet. Level topline & short coupling lead to a well angulated & well muscled rear. Best of movers, free & true with correct reach and drive. BOB

2nd        Stormpasture Juliette of Rosroden.  This 2yr B could not be denied a top placing. Another that ticks the boxes for size, type and outline. Feminine throughout, good length of neck, correctly made fore and aft, well ribbed back to short couplings and a well-muscled rear. Lovely and free on the move with reach and drive.  Called back and won the challenge for RBOB

3rd        Simeldaka Marsaxlokk Wren ShCM

Rhodesian Ridgeback

Post Graduate (1,0a)

1st Umhlanda Umpheki at Marondera.  2yr B. Pleasing B with a nice head. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, well muscled and a lovely straight front although feet could be tighter. A little lacking in forechest but like her well sprung ribs back to a firm loin. Well muscled rear. True and free on the move. Very close decision in the challenge. RBOB

Open (2,1a)

1st Gens Julia Toretto always the first at Carlincox (Imp Rus).  I loved the stamp and presence of this young 18mth D. Lovely outline with a masculine head of good proportions. Long clean neck, well laid shoulders, good forechest, straight front and lovely feet. Good depth to chest and well ribbed back to a firm loin.  Well muscled rear with a good turn of stifle. Not quite as free in rear movement as the PG winner but his other qualities just won through to get BOB.
